Es wird ein Schwimmer (10,210,310) zur Herstellung von mindestens einwandigen Sicherheitsrohren, insbesondere zur Verwendung als Bremsleitungen in KFZ, beschrieben, umfassend einen Schaft (20,220,320) mit mindestens einem Kaliber (30,31,32,230,330), wobei der mindestens ein Kaliber ein aus einem Hartmetall hergestelltes Hartmetallelement (231,333,334) oder aus einer Keramik (231,333,334) oder Keramikmischung oder aus einem Edelstahl-Rohmaterial großer Härte hergestelltes Keramikelement umfasst. Ebenso werden Verfahren zur Herstellung solche Schwimmer beschrieben.
