[origin: DE202006008411U1] The sliding drive gear (1) is mounted on a long side (10) of a fixed frame (4) or long side of the rotatable casement (5) parallel to the long side transversely to the first rotational axis (6) about which the casement rotates. The third rotational axis (8) about which the slide gear pivots parallel to the first is set across the longitudinal extension of the slide gear. The slide gear is mounted in an oblong housing (3) and pivots with this about the third rotational axis. An electric energy supply and/or electronic controller for the sliding drive gear is mounted inside the profile of the fixed or casement frame. The sliding drive gear can be connected to two toothed belts as force transfer elements to engage like slide fasteners along a straight section.
