[origin: WO2006097098A2] The invention relates to an electronic hit registering system for fencing. The aim of the invention is to provide a solution which enables a reliable recognition of hits for the three types of competitive sport fencing and, in addition, with regard to a greater freedom of movement of the participants, rendering unnecessary the carrying along of a trailing wire or spool wires by the fencer as well as a conductive fencing piste. The aim of the invention is fulfilled by utilizing the capacitive bridge circuit principle, in which the conductive portions of the clothing of the fencers and the weapons depict condenser plates to which an alternating voltage from a unit carried by the fencers is applied. One of the branches of the bridge circuit is provided in the form of electrically conductive trousers worn by the fencers, preferably worn under electrically non-conductive fencing trousers.
