Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2006097599A1] The invention relates to a space containment method which is characterised in that it comprises the following steps, namely: a flexible envelope (1), which is made from a material that can shrink in an essentially uniform manner, is applied around a support frame (2) comprising an assembly of frame elements (2a); and said envelope is subjected to the effects of a suitable physical phenomenon in order to generate the shrinkage thereof, such that, following contraction, the envelope (1) tightly hugs the support frame (2), thereby stiffening the containment structure thus obtained.
