Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1862302A2] The machine has printing units (5, 6) forming respective print columns for a web (B1) e.g. smooth paper and a web (B2) e.g. open paper. The printing units are arranged at a distance on top of each other in printing towers (3, 4). A dryer (11) e.g. hot-air dryer, is arranged in the printing tower (3) over one of the printing units and under the other printing unit such that cylinders of the printing units of the printing tower (3) overlap a larger part or entire dryer. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing magazines and newspaper copies.
