[origin: EP1862595A2] The device, in plastic, wood, paper or metal, is used to pick up the dog excrement. It includes a holding strap (2) and external reinforcement strips (3), both of which assist gripping by the users hand. The upper pivotal axis (8) is interrupted by a recess (4) in each half of the device. One half has a lower, specially-shaped buffer strip (6). The other half has a lower base strip (5) with a mechanical fastening (7). The sides carry explanatory symbols. The device can be folded together at its pivotal axes (8, 9).
