Abstract (en)
The woodwork has a sleeper chassis (1) fixed in an opening of a building and a casement (2) associated to the chassis. The chassis has a through aeration holes (11) in one of its elongated elements. The casement is provided with a through aeration hole (21) opening on one of lateral edges and on one of inner sides of dwelling. The holes (11, 21) communicate between corresponding edge of the casement and the element, by an interval (3), and form a baffle with the interval.

La menuiserie pour ouverture de bâtiment est remarquable en ce que le châssis dormant (1) comporte dans l'un au moins de ses éléments longiformes, un perçage traversant (11) débouchant d'une part dans la face externe l'une des faces dudit élément, externe à l'habitation et d'autre part sur l'une des faces dudit élément interne à l'ouverture que définit ledit châssis, et que le battant (2) est doté d'un perçage traversant (21) débouchant d'une part sur l'une de ses rives latérales et d'autre part sur l'une de ses faces internes à l'habitation, les dits perçages d'aération (11, 21), lorsque le battant (2) est en position de fermeture, étant en relation de communication par un intervalle (3) entre la rive correspondante du battant et l'élément longiforme correspondant du châssis dormant et formant avec ledit intervalle une chicane.
