The pump installation consists of the pump itself (1) and a container (2) containing the fluid to be pumped. The container has a bottom, side walls and the top. There is at least one connection (13) in one of the side walls, close to the bottom, to which the pump is connected directly. This connection may be in a recess (17) in the container side wall. The container may be enclosed in a cage (3) with cage bars (4).

Die Pumpeneinrichtung hat eine Pumpe (1) und ein Behältnis (2), das das zu pumpende Medium enthält. Um die Pumpeneinrichtung und das Behältnis so auszubilden, dass ein problemloses Auspumpen des Behältnisses (2) möglich ist, weist das Behältnis (2) an einer seiner Seitenwände in Bodennähe einen Anschluss (13) für den unmittelbaren Anschluss der Pumpe (1) auf. Da der Anschluss in Bodennähe des Behältnisses (2) vorgesehen ist, ist eine Behälter- oder Fasspumpe zum Entleeren des Behältnisses (2) nicht erforderlich.
