[origin: WO2006100140A1] The invention relates to a particular method for producing a fuel high-pressure accumulator (1) which is used for the common-rail fuel injection system of an internal combustion engine and made of a high-strength material. In an advanced processing step, prefabricated connection elements such as connecting piece (4) or fixing elements (6) are connected to the fuel high-pressure accumulator (1) by a pressure casting method. The connecting elements are preferably embodied in the form of separate cast or turned parts. The inventive method makes it possible to easily execute customer-specific solutions and to reduce production costs by avoiding additional machining steps.
