Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2006103323A1] The invention concerns a method for evaluating a quantity (PQ) representing a quality, as perceived by a recipient, of a signal (OFx) carrying data representing at least one stimulus designed to be produced on said recipient. Said method includes a step of quantifying parameters (Sqm and Tqm) respectively of a spatial quality and a temporal quality of said signal. The inventive method includes a step which consists in calculating a weighted product (Sqm.Tqm)C of parameters Sqm and Tqm, exponentiated to a power C less than one. The invention enables the integration of a correlation which will be made by a person exposed to said stimulus between its spatial and temporal qualities, using an automatic real-time technique.
