The method involves holding two parallel rails (19, 20) with a labelling holder (18). In a first step (55, 58), the label (27) is led and aligned on bus rails (19, 20). In a second step the label is inserted with the help of management resources (55, 56) in the holding rails to the container. An independent claim is included for labeling device for carrying out the method.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum maschinellen Anbringen eines austauschbaren Etiketts (27) an einem Behälter (10), welcher eine zwei parallele Halteschienen (19, 20) umfassende Etikettenhalterung (18) aufweist. Eine einfache, schnell und sichere Etikettierung wird dadurch erreicht, dass in einem ersten Schritt Mittel (55, 56) zur Führung des Etiketts (27) auf die Halteschienen (19, 20) ausgerichtet werden, und dass in einem zweiten Schritt das anzubringende Etikett (27) mit Hilfe der Führungsmittel (55, 56) in die Halteschienen (19, 20) am Behälter (10) eingeschoben wird.
