Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a drain for discharging water flowing in from substantially one direction, which drain comprises: - a collecting vessel which is open on the top side and which can be coupled to an outlet, and which collecting vessel is provided with at least one inflow edge; - a grating arranged in the collecting vessel which at least partially covers the top side of the collecting vessel; wherein the drain has an elevated side, higher than the inflow edge and opposite this inflow edge.
