Abstract (en)
A new, simple, and easy coating appearance evaluation method which has a point of origin for consumer preference with respect to the coating in which wavelength coexist is found to provide a coated article having a coating level of consumer satisfaction ; a method for producing thereof; and an apparatus for evaluating an coating appearance. A coating appearance evaluation method, in which, among surface swells of a coating, the amplitude of the swell with a wavelength in the range of 1 to 10 mm are selectively measured, and a coating appearance of the surface of the coating is evaluated by the sizes of the resulting measurement thereof.
