Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1865579A1] The terminal (100) has a housing (101) to receive an insulated electric conductor (400), and an electric connection unit (150) including a body (151) rotatably mounted in the housing. A metallic cutting edge transfixes an insulating sheath of the conductor to establish an electrical contact with a conductive core of the conductor. The edge belongs to a metallic stripping unit (160) that is slidably mounted in the body and supported against a wall (115) delimiting the housing, where the wall is elastically deformed under an action of the stripping unit during a rotation of the body.
