[origin: WO2006103063A1] The invention relates to a stretching device for physiotherapy, comprising a holder (1) for the feet of a patient and a lifting device (2), by means of which the height of the holder (1) may be altered such that a patient connected to the holder (1) may be transferred from a seating or lying position into a head-first hanging position. The therapeutic effect achieved by means of height adjustment may be improved whereby a bouncing device is provided by means of which the patient hanging head-first from the holder may be vertically displaced with a bouncing movement.
