Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2006105566A1] The invention relates to a rail vehicle comprising a body (WKA) with a compression zone (STA) that lies at least at one end behind an end support (ETR) of said body, in addition to a centre buffer coupling (KUP), which extends from an essentially vertical pivoting axis (SWA) to the end of the body and which is connected to a support of the body. According to the invention, a coupling carriage (KSL), which extends from the end support, bridging the compression zone (STA) and running towards the centre of the vehicle carriage, is fixed to the end support (ETR), said carriage being guided on the body (WKA) so that it can be longitudinally displaced.
