Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2006105826A1] The invention relates to a C-shaped sheet metal profile for partitions that are planked on both sides. Said C-shaped profile comprises two leg sections (2, 2') and a bottom section (3) that interconnects the leg sections (2, 2'). The leg sections (2, 2') form lateral faces (5) of the C-shaped profile. At least one of the leg sections (2, 2') is provided with beads (6) which protrude outward and form a support area for the planking. The invention is characterized in that at least some sections of the beads (6) are embodied such that the support area corresponds to more than 5 percent and less than 25 percent of the lateral face when the depth of penetration (E) of the beads (6) into a planking amounts to 0.3 mm.
