Abstract (en)

[origin: FR2883788A1] The method involves disposing wood pieces (B) of a lot to be processed, in contact with thermally controlled conductive presses (1, 2), where the temperature of the pieces is controlled with respect to time and intensity. The pieces are maintained at a temperature preferred by a heat control and drive unit permitting to heat the wood, by conduction, for maintaining the temperature of the wood and to cool the wood. A force is applied on the presses which distribute the force in the form of a uniform pressure on the wood that contacts the presses. An independent claim is also included for an installation for processing reconstituted and solid wood.
