[origin: WO2006100494A2] A database architecture comprising a central repository containing a metadata of the operational aspect of an organisation. The metadata preferably comprises an indicator to indicate the location of the specific type of raw data within the architecture, for example within a first or second database, which are typically situated remote from the central repository. The system enables the central repository to provide the location within an organisation of raw data regardless of the platform of the first and second database.
