[origin: WO2006106397A1] The invention concerns a method for determining the normal power line frequency of a piezoelectric actuator comprising generators characterized in that it comprises a phase of determining the frequencies of the generators for which the coupling coefficient of the channels when the power line frequency causes the actuator to resonate and a step of selecting among those frequencies, the normal power line frequency of the actuator by both generators. The invention also concerns a piezoelectric actuator whereof the common frequency of the generators is such that the coupling coefficient of the channels when the actuator is powered at said frequency is less than 40 % of the coupling coefficient of the channels when the power line frequency causes the actuator to resonate.
