[origin: EP1867247A2] The device has two adjacent disks (10), between which a hair (27) to be removed is trapped. One of the disks is rotary drivable around a rotational axis. One of the drivable disks has pulling ribs for pulling the trapped hair to a rotational axis, where the ribs run inclined to the radial direction on a side facing the other disk. A vibration generator exhibits an ultra sound generator for ultrasound application of the disks and/or the trapped hair. The vibration generator stands in effective connection with a drive connecting the rails.
