Abstract (en)
A condenser (1) has heat exchange plates (10) stacked between which the first and second gap portions (51,52) are provided alternately. Each plate has a heat transfer section (11) having grooves (13) and a hole (14) for discharging condensate, combined into a V-shape. The section has tubular projections (16) formed around the hole (14) on the rear surface of the plate (10), and tongue-shaped projections (15) formed around the hole (14) on the front surface of the plate (10). The condenser (1) has a continuous passage, which passes linearly through the heat exchange plates (10) in their stacking direction, includes the holes (14), and communicates only with the first gap portions (51). The passage enables condensate generated in the first gap portions (51) to move in the stacking direction of the heat exchange plates (10).
