[origin: WO2006037301A1] The invention relates to a luggage, sack, rucksack (1), suitcase or the similar provided with at least one hard or rigid shell section forming a wall (2) and with a waterproof zipper (4) extending at least partially around the parts of the wall (2', 3) adjacent to the shell section, wherein the closing direction of the zipper is inclined or substantially vertical with respect to the even or slightly vaulted surface of the shell part, said even or slightly vaulted surface (2) of the shell is provided with at least one hinge-like folding line (9) and the end points thereof are arranged laterally on the even or slightly vaulted surface in such a way that they are disposed near two circumferential sections of the zipper (4). When said zipper is open until the end points, the surface part surrounded by the open zipper (4) is hingeable about the folding line (9).
