The values which are determined by size, which they are dependent upon, are stored. During the operative transfer operation, the above-mentioned parameters are measured for the objects (3) and the obtained stored duration is determined such that the moment the reference point passes through the reference edge (7) of the relevant container (5,9) and the determined duration, the mechanism (4) of the pocket is opened.
