[origin: WO2006105859A1] The invention relates to a tubular bag (10) comprising a tubular bag body (12) and a cover (14), and, optionally, a base, in particular a standing base or a stand-up base. Said cover (14) is fixed to the tubular bag (10) by means of a sleeve (18) and said sleeve (18) is either embodied in an integral manner with the cover (14) or the cover (14) interacts with said sleeve (18) which at least partially overlaps the cover (14), and the sleeve (18) extends about the periphery of the cover (14) and at least over one cover-sided end section (20) of the tubular bag (10).
