[origin: DE102005015262A1] The accumulator has a housing (16) with a piston that includes a gasket (34) in a peripheral sided circulating retainer (32c). The gasket divides the accumulator into two separate chambers (36a, 36b), where one of the chambers is filled with hydraulic pressurized medium. The piston is a single-piece chipless component made of a sheet metal material, where the retainer is processed chipless at the piston for the gasket. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a storage unit with a pressurized medium accumulator (2) a method for manufacturing a pressurized medium accumulator.
