Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2006108623A1] The invention relates to a method, a computer program product and a data processing installation for examining a technical system which is assembled from components for its dismantlability. The only information required are construction models of the system and its components. Lines are calculated for every component construction model which start from selected low ends on the surface of the construction model. The inventive method is characterized by determining how many lines which start in the low end and extend in the direction of the direction vector meet the construction model of at least one other component. Depending on the numbers, every component is evaluated. The result of evaluation is that the component with the highest ranking can be removed from the system.
