Cover for bedclothes, of the type that consists of two laminar bodies that are suitably sewn together, one on top of the other, defining a practicable receptacle in which to insert/remove the duvet. Said laminar bodies or layers (1-2) that constitute the cover have wide rectangular cut-out sections (3) that correspond with its bottom vertices, the edges (6-6') of each of said cut-out sections (3) being fastened together by seams (7), so that the cover constitutes a kind of semi-box shape wherein the two layers that constitute it are fastened together by said seams (7), by longitudinal lateral seams (4) and by a transversal top seam (5), the opening (10) to access the inside of the cover being situated along the bottom edge (9) thereof.
