Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1870515A1] All de-watering belts (11, 12, 14) include transverse seams which can be opened and closed. The load carrying structure has an intermediate section removed only to draw in the transfer belt (13). The support structure includes support beams (2) and foundations (5). The pressing roller (4) wrapped by the transfer belt (15) is supported by a foundation (5). The support beams (2) are connected together by a removable intermediate section. Between support structures, an internal rail for a carriage runs close and parallel to the pressing roller (4) wrapped by the transfer belt (13). With at least one, preferably several support structures, the support beams (2) are connected in a plane in the machine running direction (6) such that triangular open spaces (3) arise between them. A corner of the support beam forming a triangular open space and pointing to the machine foundation (16), is connected to an end of a support beam running at right angles and preferably supported on the machine foundation. The support structures extend over part of the pressing section with several pressing nips, preferably over the entire pressing section. Transverse supports interconnect the support structures. The transfer belt (13) runs below the fibrous web (1). An independent claim IS INCLUDED FOR the corresponding method of changing the transfer belt.
