Abstract (en)
The device (1) has a housing (11) provided with a smoke intake, and a smoke sensor device for detecting smoke penetrating into the device through the smoke intake for activating an alarm signal. The smoke intake has a transit area attached to an outlet-testing device (3) such as optical testing device, that determines outlet capacity for the smoke in the transit area independent of the existence of the smoke. The outlet testing device comprises a light receiving measuring unit (31).

Ein Rauchwarnmelder (1) weist ein Gehäuse (11) mit einem Raucheinlass (2) und eine Rauch-Sensoreinrichtung (5) zum Feststellen von durch den Raucheinlass (2) in den Rauchwarnmelder (1) eindringendem Rauch auf. Um eine Prüfung der Raucheindringfähigkeit unabhängig von dem Vorhandensein von Rauch einzurichten, weist der Raucheinlass (2) wenigstens einen Durchgangsbereich auf, dem eine Durchlass-Prüfeinrichtung (3) zugeordnet ist, die Durchlassfähigkeit für Rauch in dem Durchgangsbereich feststellt.
