[origin: WO2006095073A1] The invention concerns a furniture item structure, such as a collapsible bed, comprising a fixed part and a pivoting part including a substantially planar frame and mounted articulating on the fixed part between a substantially raised position and a substantially flat lying position. The pivoting part (4) comprises at least one guide (20) extending substantially perpendicular to said frame and at least one leg (22) mounted on said guide so as to be slidable and actuating means (24) connecting said leg to said fixed part and adapted to move the latter between an exit position when the pivoting part is in flat lying position so that its free end is urged to be supported on the floor and a retracted position when the bed is in raised position.
