Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2006111555A2] The invention relates to a printing unit comprising at least two cylinders that cooperate in a printing group. At least one of said cylinders is movably mounted such that the same can be positioned against the other cylinder by means of at least one actuator which is embodied as a power-controlled actuator. A control device is provided in which several different preset values representing different levels of contact force are stored in accordance with a criterion that concerns machine data and/or consumed material data and/or operational data in order to position the cylinder by means of the actuator.
