Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2006111571A1] Disclosed is a method for the aerobic-thermophilic stabilization and decontamination of sludge, in which a) raw sludge having a dry substance concentration of 3 to 7 percent by weight is continuously or quasi continuously fed to a first stage and remains there in aerobic-thermophilic conditions for an average of three to ten days so as to obtain partially stabilized sludge, b) the partially stabilized sludge is fed to a second stage in which the same is decontaminated at minimum temperatures of 500?C, no delivery taking place before a removal process until the partially stabilized sludge has been decontaminated.
