Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2006095093A1] The invention concerns a method for making coated assembly parts for chemical device components including the following successive steps: a) forming an initial assembly comprising a steel support part, typically a plate, a zirconium or a zirconium alloy coating, typically a sheet metal having a dimension approximately that of the steel plate, and at least one brazing material between the support part and the coating, said brazing material being an alloy including silver and copper; b) introducing the initial assembly in a brazing chamber with controlled atmosphere; c) forming a controlled atmosphere inside said chamber; d) heating said assembly up to a temperature not less than the melting temperature of said brazing material. Prior to forming said initial assembly, a titanium or titanium-based alloy coating is deposited on said zirconium (or alloy) coating and said coating is placed such that its titanium- (or alloy-) coated surface is contacted with said brazing material.
