[origin: WO2006103441A1] An apparatus for reduction of wind noise comprised of an electro-acoustic transducer arrangement with at least three bi-directional transducer elements disposed in three dimensions at an angle to each other and pointing towards a common sound source. The exposed structure is covered with a thin layer of acoustic-resistive material. The electrical outputs of the elements are added together to provide an output signal with increased signal to noise ratio.
