[origin: DE202006010070U1] The pivot mounting (5) for the foot rest (3) is connected for movement in accordance with movement of the back rest (2). It comprises two parallel coupling sections, of which the first is articulated to two pivoting levers carrying the foot rest, and the second is articulated to a swinging lever. The pivot mounting include a guide plate (16). One side of this is pivoted to the seat (1), the other side is connected to a cantilever plate (7) fixed to the frame.
