The stitching device (1) includes a stitching head (2) having sintered molded portion made of ceramic such as oxide ceramic or mixed metal oxide ceramic and other portions made of steel or hard metal. A driver (16) drives the staple through a product spine. The benders bend the back open ends of staple.

Die Heftvorrichtung (1) besitzt einen Heftkopf (2), der eine Drahtklammer (5) vorformt und durch einen Produkterücken treibt und einen Umbieger (3), der Umbiegeflügel (20) besitzt und die offenen Enden der Drahtklammer umbiegen. Wenigstens ein Teil ist wenigstens teilweise aus Keramik hergestellt. Das Teil ist vorzugsweise ein gesintertes Formteil und die Keramik ist vorzugsweise eine Oxidkeramik. Durch die Verwendung eines solchen Teils lässt sich die Standzeit erhöhen und die Kosten können gesenkt werden.
