The multipart key (1) has a base part (2) with a rear shank section (5) and a bow (8), and a functional part (3) with a front shank section (6) and a key bit (9).An adapter (4) is provided between the base part and the functional part, where the adapter is firmly connected with the base part or with the functional part. The adapter is formed as a shank section (7) in a single-piece. The adapter and the functional device form a component (10). The adapter is made of metal or plastic. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a multipart key.

Ein mehrteiliger Schlüssel 1 besteht aus einem Basisteil 2 mit einem hinteren Halmabschnitt 5 und der Reide 8 sowie einem Funktionsteil 3 mit einem vorderen Halmabschnitt 6 und dem Schlüsselbart 9. Zwischen Basisteil 2 und Funktionsteil 3 ist ein fest mit dem Basisteil 2 oder mit dem Funktionsteil 3 verbundener Adapter 4 vorgesehen, bei dem es sich um ein kostengünstig herstellbares Standardbauteil handelt.
