Abstract (en)
The suppressor (1) has several chambers partially enclosing a flow channel. The chambers facing back to the flow channel are covered completely by a cover plate (11). The cover plate comprises several slot-like openings (13), which are arranged along the circumference of the flow channel and aligned in the flow direction. Two of the chambers are designed at basic frequency and are arranged at a distance from each other in the flow direction. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an internal combustion engine with a resonator silencer (2) a turbo-machine with a resonator silencer.

Der Resonatorschalldämpfer (1) weist voneinander beabstandet angeordnete Kammern (12) auf. Die Resonatoreigenschaft lässt sich verbessern, indem die Wechselwirkung zweier auf eine Hauptfrequenz ausgelegte Kammern (12) durch den Abstand reduziert wird. Die Dämpfungsfähigkeit der Gesamtheit der auf eine Hauptfrequenz ausgelegten Kammern kann dadurch gesteigert werden.
