[origin: WO2006108508A1] The invention relates to a method for preparing paper-fibre raw material, in particular material containing wood, such as e.g. waste paper, from which high-quality fine paper e.g. supercalendered (SC) paper or lightweight coated (LWC) paper is to be made. According to said method, a fibrous material suspension (S) is formed and is split into fractions (1). The coarse fraction (3) is fortified with rigid fibres and the fine fraction (2) with flexible fibres. The coarse fraction (3) is subsequently milled in a compression milling process (4).
