[origin: WO2006109119A2] A system for the distribution of a plurality of multimedia signals in an apartment block is described, which comprises a central control unit (12) adapted to receive said signals and for distributing them through a coaxial cable (13), characterized in that the distribution of the signals to each apartment takes place in a single apparatus (14) under the control of a microprocessor (22), and that the communications within each apartment can be isolated from the other apartments of the apartment block.
