The valve plate (3), for a spray can, has a hollow spike to take the spray valve and a ring groove (7) shaped into a concentric collar (5) to take an elastic sealing ring (7) in a positive fit. The outer edge (8) of the ring groove is bent at least partially toward the groove, to form a support surface (9) for the sealing ring.

Ventilteller für eine Sprühdose, mit einem Tellerdom zur Aufnahme eines Sprühventils (15) und einem unter Bildung einer umlaufenden Ringnut (6) angeformten, konzentrischen Kragen (5), in dem ein elastischer Dichtring (7) formschlüssig gehalten ist, wobei ein die Ringnut (6) begrenzender Außenrand (8) zumindest teilweise umlaufend in Richtung der Ringnut (6) unter Bildung einer Abstützfläche (9) für den Dichtring (7) umgebogen ist.
