[origin: EP1878562A1] The thermosetting or thermoplastic device for the fabrication of pipes (1) e.g. aircraft air conditioner pipe formed of a stack of fold (3) with composite materials, comprises a structured fold (5), a rigid fold (7), a reinforcement unit, and a sealing unit. The rigid fold is firstly or finally disposed on a part of a length of the pipe during the formation of stack, and present in the form of an openwork or net-like fold. The structured fold and the rigid fold comprise a phenolic resin associated or non-associated to glass fiber and/or carbon. The thermosetting or thermoplastic device for the fabrication of pipes (1) e.g. aircraft air conditioner pipe formed of a stack of fold (3) with composite materials, comprises a structured fold (5), a rigid fold (7), a reinforcement unit, and a sealing unit. The rigid fold is firstly or finally disposed on a part of a length of the pipe during the formation of stack, and present in the form of an openwork or net-like fold. The structured fold and the rigid fold comprise a phenolic resin associated or non-associated to glass fiber, carbon and/or Kevlar(RTM: Light, strong para-aramid synthetic fiber). The reinforcement unit is situated at ends and/or on the entire length of the pipe. An independent claim is included for a process of manufacturing a thermosetting or thermoplastic device.
