[origin: EP1878571A2] The unit (01) has a form cylinder (06), where a printing plate is arranged in the form cylinder in each mounting position of the cylinder. A storage position in a printing plate magazine (08) is assigned to each mounting position, where the printing plate is stored in each storage position. A handling device (09) is positioned in an operating side of the unit, where the handling device loads the storage positions of the printing plate magazine simultaneously with the printing plate assigned to each mounting position.
