Abstract (en)
The security device comprises an annular support (1) which is closed by a seal (2), and a non-volatile memory unit is connected to the support. A transponder (32) is connected to the memory element (31) for read out or altering piece of status information stored in the memory element. An electric or magnetic contact (21) enclosed by the seal is coupled to the memory element for changing the status information on opening or closing the contacts.

Eine Sicherungsvorrichtung für transportable Güter umfaßt einen ringartigen Träger, der mittels eines Verschlusses schließbar ist, ein mit dem Träger verbundenes nichtflüchtiges Speicherelement, einen mit dem Speicherelement verbundenen Transponder zum Auslesen und/oder Verändern zumindest einer im Speicherelement gespeicherten Statusinformation, einen vom Verschluß umfaßten elektrischen und/oder magnetischen Kontakt, der mit dem Speicherelement zur Veränderung der Statusinformation bei Öffnen und/oder Schließen des Kontakts gekoppelt ist, und ein Zugriffskontrollelement zur Verhinderung einer unzulässigen Veränderung zumindest der im Speicherelement gespeicherten Statusinformation.
