Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1879085A1] The escapement has a balance carrying out oscillatory movements defining alternations, and including a lift (36) and a pin respectively carried by plates. An escape wheel (12) transmits energy from an energy source e.g. barrel, to the balance via the lift during one of the alternations, where the wheel has a tooth co-operating with the balance and a pallet (14) that has a body. The pallet is compact and directly supports an assembly of fork`s end, drop-shaped element`s end, end flank, a cylindrical element (58), and flanks (56a, 60a) on the body.
