Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a device for identifying radio and television contents which allows storing the additional information in digital format that is associated to the radio and television contents such as the title of the show or song, artist, album name, advertised product or service, etc. It allows recovering said information a posteriori, viewing it through the display (12) of the device or through an external device. To that end the device has a microprocessor or microcontroller (5) provided with programming software or firmware for interpreting and storing the information received by the receiver equipment (1) in a memory module (6), such microcontroller or microprocessor (5) incorporating means (7-8-9-10-11) for activating the recording of said information, which can be viewed through the display (12) of the receiver equipment the device is associated to, through a display associated to the microcontroller or microprocessor (6) and/or by means of connection means (9-10-11) for connecting to external devices.
