[origin: WO2006102871A1] In a w.c. system for caravans, mobile homes, motor boats or similar comprising a previously installed chopper/pump unit, i.e. a motor-driven system that is installed in a fixed manner in the vehicle, if the aforementioned unit fails, the w.c. can no longer be used in most cases. To solve this problem, the fixed connection is removed and a chopper/pump unit that is compatible with a conventional waste water tank is inserted and connected, said unit taking over the functions of the original, fixed chopper/pump unit once it has been connected, thus sustaining the operation of the toilet, as the replacement chopper/pump unit is fully compatible with the previously installed fixed system.
