Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1881114A2] The method involves assembling independent panels between their vertical lateral sides to form a parallelepiped shaped outer metallic box (2). Handling units handling a parallelepiped shaped gabion type individual construction element (1), are installed by associating the units with a panel forming the bottom of the box. The box is positioned in a filling formwork (21), and filled with a filling material (34) e.g. stone, while maintaining the units accessible by an element`s upper side. Compaction is ensured by vibrations of the material. The box is closed with a horizontal upper cover (6).
