Vorgeschlagen ist ein schaltbarer Ventiltrieb (1) für eine Brennkraftmaschine, mit einer Reihe von sich in Längsrichtung eines Zylinderkopfes erstreckenden Kipphebeln (2), die über eine Ausnehmung (7) an ihrer Oberseite (6) an einem Kopf (8) eines Lagerbolzens (9) verlaufen, der axial beweglich in einer Bohrung (10) eines darüber verlaufenden Trägers (11) /Einsatzteils (11a) angeordnet ist, wobei kolbenartige Koppelmittel (12) zur wahlweisen Kopplung des Lagerbolzen (9) mit dem Träger (11) vorgesehen sind.
